On the morning of May 2nd, Binh Thuan Ward People's Committee (Lam Dong province) said that a fire in a dragon fruit garden in Phu Dien neighborhood had just occurred in the area.
The fire broke out at night, the fire rose high and spread quickly due to hot and dry weather with wind. The area where the fire occurred is located near many dragon fruit gardens being cultivated and residential areas, so there is a potential risk of fire spreading.

Discovering the incident, people around proactively used water pumps to spray and control the fire from many directions.
Upon receiving the news, local functional forces quickly arrived at the scene, deploying firefighting measures to prevent the fire from spreading to the surrounding area.

After about 30 minutes, the fire was completely extinguished. The incident did not cause any casualties.
According to functional forces, at this time the weather is dry and hot, vegetation is easily flammable. People need to raise fire prevention awareness, do not burn garbage, burn grass indiscriminately, and avoid the risk of similar incidents.
