The factory fire containing many sponge foams occurred at about 9:15 am on January 5, on Tran Quang Dieu street, Tan Dong Hiep ward (formerly Tan Binh ward, Di An city, Binh Duong province).

Initial information, at the above time, people discovered the fire and quickly shouted and used on-site fire extinguishers to put out the fire, but failed. The incident was then reported to functional agencies for support.

At the scene, inside the workshop contained many flammable materials, causing the fire to quickly flare up and spread throughout the workshop. Smoke and fire rose high, threatening to spread.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Force of Ho Chi Minh City Police and grassroots police arrived at the scene, organized firefighting, and prevented the fire from spreading to people's houses and nearby transformer stations.

About 30 minutes later, the fire was controlled, and functional forces completely extinguished the fire at the foam factory.

According to records, many raw materials, machinery, and belongings inside the factory were burned down. Currently, functional forces and the facility owner are collecting damage statistics and verifying to clarify the fire.
