Spending 12.3 billion VND to dredge Bau Sen Lake in Vung Tau City

Ba Ria - Vung Tau - The dredging of Bau Sen Lake in Vung Tau City aims to better regulate and drain water in the area during the rainy season.

On March 29, the Bau Sen Lake dredging and renovation project in Thang Tam ward, Vung Tau city (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) officially started construction with package No. 2.

This is a project invested by the Vung Tau City Land Fund Development and Investment Project Management Board, and the Vietnam Science - Technology Joint Stock Company (BUSADCO) is the construction unit.

In the project, package No. 2 worth more than 12.3 billion VND includes dredging the entire lake area of about 15.89 hectares over 3 months, with an expected dredged sludge volume of more than 96,000 m3.

To implement the project, the construction unit must prepare vacant areas as mud gathering areas, build a system to recover water to return to the lake, treat biological products in the lake, etc.

Bau Sen Lake is one of the main regulating lakes, contributing to local flood prevention in Vung Tau City. The implementation of the dredging and renovation project of this lake aims to better perform the task of regulating and draining water.

At the same time, renovating the surrounding area to form a green - clean - beautiful public park space, contributing to urban beautification, serving the needs of entertainment, recreation, and community connection of local people.
