Ms. Binh said that yesterday afternoon (October 20), impatient about her daughter being brutally abused by her husband and having to be hospitalized, she took a taxi from her parents' house in Son La province to Vinh Hospital (Nghe An province) to take care of her child.

Before the incident, because her father was seriously ill, she returned to her maternal hometown in Son La province to take care of him. At around 6am on October 19, a neighbor where she rented a house in Phu Hoa village, Co Dam commune called to report that her daughter had been beaten by her husband and injured.
Lessons for husband to refund salary
Before her husband was arrested by the police, Ms. Binh shared: Hopefully, after being punished by the law, her husband will clearly realize his wrongdoings so that future violations, violence, and violence in the family will not recur.
"Through discussions with the doctor, the daughter's health has temporarily stabilized. Due to the circumstances of his grandfather's family's death, I plan to ask for his discharge from the hospital this afternoon to take him back to his maternal hometown," Ms. Binh added.
Regarding L's wish to return to her hometown to live with her maternal family in Son La province, and to study there right away, Ms. Binh said she agreed. As Lao Dong reported, regarding the incident of a girl named H.T.N.L (10 years old, 5th grade at Co Dam Primary School, Ha Tinh province) being assaulted by her stepfather, Nguyen Van Nam (born in 1994, residing in Phu Hoa village, Co Dam commune), the Investigation Police Agency of Ha Tinh Province Police arrested this subject for intentional injury.
According to the investigation, at around 6:00 p.m. on October 18, Nam took L to her biological mother, Ms. Tran Thi Huong (residing in Van Thanh Bac village) to eat. During the meal, Nam and his relatives drank beer. At around 10:00 p.m. the same day, Nam took baby L back to her rented house in Phu Hoa village.
Here, while talking, outraged because L did not answer the right answer and evoked the previous conflict, Nam used his hand and wooden stick to hit the nephew many times.
