On the afternoon of July 8, the Ministry of Home Affairs held a conference to evaluate the work in June and the first 6 months of 2025, deploying tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs' Electronic Information Portal, concluding the conference, to continue to complete the key tasks of the Ministry and branches in the last 6 months of 2025, Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra suggested that units under and directly under the Ministry need to focus and prepare many tasks.
In particular, the Minister noted the work of synthesizing, reviewing, and adjusting the basic salary level, adjusting position and title allowances for commune levels, regional allowances, and special allowances when implementing the arrangement of local governments at 2 levels, requiring ensuring balance and reasonableness when adjusting.
The Minister assigned Deputy Minister Nguyen Manh Khuong to closely monitor and prepare the contents for the Ministry to report to the Party and State leaders on the adjustment plan.
Regarding the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra requested relevant units to pay attention, focus on implementation, and monitor every day so as not to miss the content and tasks that could lead to ministries and branches being criticized nationwide.
The Minister assigned Deputy Minister Truong Hai Long to pay attention and closely monitor to develop reports related to mechanisms, policies, support resources and propose new mechanisms and policies related to the tasks of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.
In the coming time, Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra also requested Deputy Ministers to closely monitor the assigned units to ensure that the work is effectively implemented, completing all contents and tasks at a good level to be able to submit to competent authorities for consideration as soon as the Ministry completes.
In the immediate future, in July and August 2025, the Ministry will focus on important issues that will be commented on by the Standing Committee of the Ministry Party Committee before submitting to the Standing Committee of the Secretariat, the Politburo on issues: Salary, allowances; implementation of the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants; organization of workers in enterprises.
