On December 13, the Ministry of Public Security held an online conference on the implementation of the "Quang Trung Campaign" in the People's Public Security. Colonel Duong Van Thoan - Deputy Director of Hue City Police attended and chaired the meeting at the Hue City Police bridge.
Implementing the direction of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Public Security, the People's Public Security force across the country is taking the lead in building 447 new houses for people in the Central provinces who suffered heavy damage due to the recent storms, with a support level of 50 million VND/house.
With a spirit of determination and urgency, the People's Public Security force strives to complete all projects before January 20, 2026, 10 days earlier than the time limit assigned by the Government, contributing to helping people soon stabilize their lives and celebrate the traditional Lunar New Year.
At the Conference, representatives of the Public Security of units and localities reported on the implementation progress, agreed on the number of houses needed to be built within the framework of the "Quang Trung Campaign", and discussed and clarified the difficulties and problems arising during the implementation process. The opinions focused on proposing solutions to speed up progress, ensure construction quality, labor safety and environmental sanitation.
The implementation of the "Quang Trung Campaign" with a spirit of speed and determination, focusing on rebuilding houses for households that were completely collapsed due to storms not only has the meaning of supporting social security, but also contributes to strengthening the close relationship between the police and the people, spreading the spirit of "Serving the people", "Leaving no one behind".
In Hue City, in response to the campaign launched by the Ministry of Public Security and the City People's Committee, Hue City Police have coordinated with local authorities to build 2 new houses for 2 households severely affected by natural disasters, with a support level of 150 million VND/house.
In the coming time, Hue City Police will continue to speed up the construction progress, strive to complete and hand over the houses before January 31, 2026 so that people can soon stabilize their lives and enjoy the Lunar New Year 2026; at the same time, synchronously deploy solutions to ensure security, order, social security, care for people's lives, contributing to the recovery and stabilization of livelihoods for people in the area.
