On October 29, Colonel Nguyen Viet Hoang - Deputy Director of Hue City Police visited and encouraged Hue Central Hospital to visit and encourage Sergeant Phan Luong Hai, an officer of the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police, who was injured while rescuing people in flooded areas.
Previously, on the night of October 27, while supporting people to evacuate from deeply flooded areas in the center of Hue City, Sergeant Hai and his teammates received an emergency order to go to Hung Vuong Street (Thuan Hoa Ward) to rescue 4 people trapped in the flooded area.
After taking 3 people out of the danger zone and returning to save the fourth person, Sergeant Hai was unfortunately given a cut in the artery position.
Despite the serious injuries, he and his teammates continued to bring many people to safety, before being transferred to Hue Central Hospital for emergency care at 1:00 a.m. on October 28. Thanks to timely emergency care, Sergeant Hai's health is now stable.
