According to Mr. Ung Dinh Hien, currently, vehicles transported on Vo Van Kiet, Tri Binh - Dung Quat port routes with a very large traffic volume, especially vehicles transporting soil and stone of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company, mineral mines, cause frustration for the people.
In order to ensure traffic safety in the area and avoid unfortunate accidents, the People's Committee of Van Tuong commune reported and recommended that the Department of Construction direct the Traffic Inspectorate to strengthen inspections on the routes assigned for management, especially the Vo Van Kiet route (National Highway 24C); Tri Binh - Dung Quat port through Dung Quat Economic Zone.
At the same time, it is necessary to soon invest in expanding the National Highway 24C traffic route, especially the intersection of Vo Van Kiet (National Highway 24C) to the port to ensure traffic safety and increase the volume of goods coming to the port.
The leader of Van Tuong Commune People's Committee also recommended that the Provincial Police continue to investigate and verify the cause of the traffic accident in the two cases on August 6, 2025 and August 7, 2025. Direct the authorities to continue to strengthen patrolling and control work.
In particular, focus on handling violations of extending vehicle body, carrying goods that are overloaded or oversized; transporting goods that are not tied in accordance with regulations; violating speed, not obeying traffic light signals...
According to Mr. Ung Dinh Hien, Van Tuong commune has a large population, many factories and companies under construction, and a very large volume of vehicles participating in traffic. Therefore, the commune respectfully requests the Provincial Police to propose considering decentralization and authorization to the Commune Police to have a basis for performing patrol and control tasks, promptly detecting and handling vehicles violating traffic safety and order on routes that are decentralized for patrolling and controlling under the management area according to regulations...
The leaders of Van Tuong Commune People's Committee also requested the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks to preside over the organization of field inspections according to the design plan and environmental protection plan, especially the route of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company to transport and store soil and stone approved by the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks to promptly handle or propose handling related contents to avoid traffic accidents in the area.
