According to the epidemiological investigation of the authorities of Cam My district, on May 29, an unknown dog running free on the street bit 6 people in Song Ray commune and bit each other with 2 other dogs of a local resident.
This dog was then surrounded and beaten to death by local people; sang Ray commune veterinarian took a dog head sample to test for the rabies virus and destroyed the dog.
Currently, all 6 people bitten by rabid dogs are continuing to be vaccinated against rabies according to the schedule and instructions of medical staff.
