The Department of Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs coordinated with relevant agencies and units, Ngoi Sao Bien Tourism Joint Stock Company and representatives of small traders doing business at the night market (doing business on the grounds of Bach Dang pedestrian street and night market phase 1), holding a meeting to exchange ideas together.
Representatives of the Department have approved the direction of the Chairman of the Special Zone People's Committee - Tran Minh Khoa on proposing to consider extending the time to complete the restoration of the ground for the Bach Dang pedestrian street and night market organization. Informing members participating in the exchange and agreement on plans for arranging electricity and water, fire prevention and fighting, security and order, food hygiene, and environment during the extension period to complete the restoration of the ground for the Bach Dang pedestrian street and night market organization.
Ngoi Sao Bien Tourism Joint Stock Company proposed extending the time for the Company to carry out the collection of stalls after the extension period ends according to regulations. The Company will create facilities for small traders to use until the end of the extension period.

Previously, the Department had an official letter sent to the Special Zone People's Committee proposing to consider extending the time to complete the return of land to organize the pedestrian street and Bach Dang night market.
