On February 7, a restaurant owner in Phuoc An town (Krong Pac district, Dak Lak province) responded to information about being accused of overcharging while selling 2 bowls of oysters worth 200,000 VND to customers.
At around 2:00 a.m. the same day, a man from another locality came to eat a Condort at a restaurant on Giai Phong Street, Phuoc An Town. This person ordered 2 bowls of oysters to eat at the restaurant. After that, the owner calculated 100,000 VND/bowl (two bowls worth 200,000 VND).
Believing that the restaurant was expensive and showed signs of slashing guests, the man posted the information on social media.
Meanwhile, the owner of the shop said that the information of the customer did not specify what to eat, so many people misunderstand the shop.
According to the owner, up to now, each bowl of oysters in the restaurant has been priced at 100,000 VND. Chicken worms cost from 30,000 VND to 35,000 VND.
"I did not want the incident to be noisy, so I called to apologize and return 100,000 VND to the customer. A bowl of oysters has 8 children, each of them costs from 10,000 VND to 12,000 VND," said the owner.
