On the afternoon of January 16, Mr. Ngo Khac Thinh - Head of the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of Nha Trang ward confirmed that Bien Xanh Trading - Service - Tourism Co., Ltd. (Bien Xanh Company) has completed the dismantling of the construction items of BlueSea Beach & Bar at Nha Trang beach.
The dismantling of the bar was carried out by the enterprise after functional agencies inspected and handled violations related to business activities at the beach.
Previously, a video circulated on social networks recording the scene of some employees of BlueSea Beach & Bar (belonging to Bien Xanh Company) using shovels to threaten two foreign tourists. The incident caused public outrage and negatively affected the image of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism.
Through inspection, Nha Trang Ward People's Committee determined that Bien Xanh Company had two violations. That is, not registering to change the content of the registration certificate of business location and business of food services without being granted a certificate of eligibility for food safety.
On that basis, Nha Trang Ward People's Committee issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against Bien Xanh Company with a total fine of 50 million VND.
At the same time, requesting the enterprise to terminate the food business and dismantle all kiosks serving the BlueSea Beach & Bar bar on Nha Trang beach.
Mr. Tran Xuan Tay - Chairman of Nha Trang Ward People's Committee - said that previously, Nha Trang City People's Committee (old) only allowed Bien Xanh Company to install a tourist kiosk to serve the storage of equipment for outdoor sports, not allowing the organization of eating and drinking activities.
The Chairman of Nha Trang ward emphasized that this establishment has encroached on the beach and organized illegal food business for many years.
Only when the incident of employees using shovels to threaten tourists occurred were violations detected and thoroughly handled.
In the coming time, the locality will continue to strengthen inspection and supervision to restore order and discipline for food service business activities in Nha Trang beach area, ensuring a civilized and safe tourism environment for tourists.
