The police of Man Thai ward (Son Tra district, Da Nang city) said they are investigating the case of a coffee shop owner accused of assaulting a 10-year-old boy at Man Thai beach.
Previously, a post by account B.B appeared on social media about his child being slapped and assaulted by the owner of a coffee shop C.C.G after breaking a glass bottle.
The article reads: "Yesterday, when my child (10 years old) was playing at Man Thai beach and broke a glass bottle of the restaurant, the restaurant owner immediately rushed in and slapped him in the face with 8-9 strokes. After that, he repeatedly hit his grandchild's head on a wooden pole of the swings and continued to tell the staff to put a necklace and his hand on him."
In addition, the post also included a photo of a document stating "monitoring traumatic brain injury at home" and said that the boy had been diagnosed by the Son Tra District Medical Center with a broken tooth.
The incident caused a stir in public opinion, many people expressed their anger at the owner's behavior, while some other opinions said that the incident needed to be clarified.
