    Hanoi - The Chairman of the City People's Committee directed the inspection and clarification of information reflecting on the illegal leveling situation at Dam Lake (Ba Vi District).

    The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued an official dispatch on checking and handling press reports on illegal leveling at Dam Lake (Dam San village, Minh Quang commune, Ba Vi district).

    Regarding this, the Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Ba Vi district to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to urgently inspect and clarify the information reported by the press, and strictly handle violations (if any); report to the City People's Committee before April 27.

    Previously, the press reported the situation of dozens of cubic meters of soil and rock dumped by people into Dam Lake to level and prevent the flow...

    Not only is Dam Lake being blatantly dumped with soil and rocks by a number of people and preventing the flow, but many surrounding locations are being encroached. In the area from house number 2 to house number 12, Dam San street (Dam San village), there are 3 - 4 households that dumped soil, encroaching on the lake surface.
