Hai Phong - The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested localities to quickly deploy measures to overcome the consequences of the thunderstorm that occurred on September 29.

On September 30, in response to the damage caused by storm No. 10 and thunderstorms and tornadoes, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau has just given instructions, requesting the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to urgently deploy measures to overcome the consequences.

Previously, due to the impact of storm No. 10, many localities in the city experienced thunderstorms, causing many houses to collapse, roofs to be blown off, and trees and crops to be damaged.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested units to focus on reviewing, counting, and fully and accurately recording the damage situation, promptly sending to the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Department of Construction for synthesis and guidance on remedial work. Proactively mobilize and effectively use local resources to quickly implement the repair of the most essential items, ensure uninterrupted administrative, production, business and daily activities of the people, and at the same time implement support policies in accordance with regulations for the affected subjects, especially poor households, disadvantaged families, policy families, and vulnerable subjects, avoiding loss, waste, and negativity.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested to urgently establish a dossier to confirm initial damage, synthesize the support needs of individuals and organizations in accordance with legal regulations and make it public on the local information system; synthesize and report support proposals from the city budget to the Department of Agriculture and Environment before October 5. Localities focus on implementing necessary measures to minimize damage, restore agricultural production, promptly implement solutions to protect rice, crops and crops of high economic value; organize visits, encourage, and support the treatment of people affected by storms, thunderstorms, and tornadoes; review and arrange safe temporary shelters for households with no housing, ensure essential living conditions, and maintain security and order in damaged areas.

The city assigns the Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to be fully responsible for statistical data and reports on damage caused by storms, thunderstorms and tornadoes, and regularly monitor, update the situation, and promptly report to the City People's Committee.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee also assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to synthesize the damage and support needs from localities, inspect, review agricultural damage, and report before October 5. The Department of Construction to inspect and guide the repair of damaged works; the Department of Health directs medical facilities to treat victims; Departments and branches, based on their functions and tasks, proactively use legal resources to overcome damage caused by storms, thunderstorms, and tornadoes in the fields and facilities under their management, in cases beyond their capacity, and report to the Department of Finance. The Department of Finance advises on budget balance and reports to the City People's Committee before October 10.
