On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, on February 3, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan visited and wished Tet to Ia Pnon, Ia Puch, Ia Mo, Ia Lop Border Guard Stations; Provincial Border Guard Command and border communes in the province.
At 4 Border Guard Stations and Ia Pnon, Ia Puch, Ia Mo, Ia Lop communes, the Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee listened to leaders of Border Guard Stations and leaders of border communes report on the deployment of military, defense, and border tasks in 2025;
The work of managing and protecting national sovereignty, territory, and border security; Tet care for people in border areas, policy families, poor households, and near-poor households; foreign affairs work with border communes of Cambodia.

The Chairman of Gia Lai province expressed his sympathy for the difficulties in performing the tasks of officers and soldiers of the Border Guard Stations. He requested the Stations to ensure Tet duty troops, perform professionally well, raise vigilance against crimes in border areas, promote border exchanges and coordinate with local authorities to support people to celebrate Tet safely and warmly.
Border Guard Stations need to pay attention to taking care of the lives of officers and soldiers; continue to maintain and effectively implement the "Helping a Poor Household Each Week" Program, and at the same time seriously implement work tasks, especially during the peak period of the Lunar New Year.
For border communes, the Chairman of Gia Lai province requested urgent implementation of Tet care activities for people, especially paying attention to policy families, poor households, near-poor households and those still facing difficulties.
Ensure the full and timely implementation of regimes and policies according to regulations; in addition to funding from the state budget, localities need to proactively mobilize socialized resources to take care of people more thoughtfully, fully and practically.
Border communes need to promote research and propose key solutions to promote socio-economic development, strengthen investment attraction, and create sustainable development momentum for the locality.
On the occasion of the traditional Tet of the nation, the Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee sent wishes to officers and soldiers of Border Guard Stations, Party committees, authorities and people in border communes to celebrate Tet warmly, joyfully, and happily.
On this occasion, the Chairman of Gia Lai province presented gifts to 4 Border Guard Stations and 3 border communes; and provided financial support for Ia Pnon, Ia Mo, Ia Puch and Ia Lop Border Guard Stations to implement the "Each week helping a poor household" program in 2026.
