On June 7, according to PV's source, Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee Le Hai Hoa signed and issued Decision No. 1047/QD-UBND on consolidating the Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation, Digital Transformation and Project 06 of the province.
According to the decision, the Steering Committee consists of 24 members headed by Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hai Hoa.
Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee Vu Dinh Quang, Hoang Van Thach, Ha Nhat Le and leaders of the Provincial Police, Department of Science and Technology, and Department of Home Affairs served as Deputy Heads.
The Steering Committee has the task of advising the Provincial People's Committee on mechanisms, policies, and solutions to promote science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation, administrative reform and the implementation of Project 06; and at the same time directing, coordinating, inspecting, and urging the implementation of key tasks in the area.
Along with consolidating the Steering Committee, Cao Bang province maintains 3 specialized working groups on project 06 implementation, science and technology development and administrative reform; establishing the Steering Committee's Working Group to support the work of advising, summarizing and organizing task implementation.
The Provincial Police are assigned to be the standing agency, responsible for coordinating activities, monitoring, and urging the implementation of programs and plans of the Steering Committee.
The consolidation of the Steering Committee is expected to improve the efficiency of inter-sectoral coordination, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, create motivation to promote science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and administrative reform, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province in the new period.
