Nghe An - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai chaired the regular citizen reception in December 2025, with 26 individuals making recommendations.

On December 15, Mr. Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province chaired a regular citizen reception in December 2025 with the participation of 26 citizens and groups of citizens.

The next session was attended by representatives of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Standing Committee, and leaders of relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities.

The content of citizens' recommendations focuses mainly on land areas such as delay in granting land use right certificates, land disputes, site clearance, compensation, support, and resettlement when implementing infrastructure, transportation and residential area projects.

In addition, citizens reported the encroachment on drainage ditches and shared roads, the forced demolition of works did not ensure a legal basis; recommended reviewing the results of handling complaints and denunciations of the grassroots government.

The citizen reception also recorded many opinions related to social policies and regimes such as resolving rights for young volunteers, meritorious people, supporting housing for disadvantaged households, recruiting teachers, opening residential paths and recommendations from Vinh market traders on rental prices.

Concluding the citizen reception session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai requested departments, branches and localities to comprehensively review each case, clearly identify responsibilities, focal points and settlement deadlines; ensure publicity, transparency, compliance with legal regulations, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of citizens.

For complicated and prolonged cases, especially related to land, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that they must be handled from the root, not avoided, not shirked responsibility; in case of detecting violations, they must be clarified and strictly handled according to regulations.
