On May 16, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang - Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province - signed and issued Official Letter No. 2868/UBND-NC, requesting heads of departments, branches and sectors of the province and Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to temporarily suspend organizing groups to visit and learn from experiences at the present time.
The content of the dispatch stated: Implementing the Conclusion No. 137-KL/TW of the Politburo dated March 28, 2025 on the scheme of arranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and building a model of two-level local government organization; Along with the guiding documents of the Standing Committee of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the heads of departments, agencies and presidents of People's Committees of districts, towns and cities seriously performing the suspension of organizing delegations to visit and learn experiences.
In the current period, departments, branches and People's Committees of localities need to focus on effectively implementing instructions from competent authorities on the arrangement and reorganization of administrative units at all levels and building a model of two-level local government organization, ensuring the completion of the set goals in terms of both time and quality of work.
The leader of the Office of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee said that he would monitor and review. If any agency or unit head is found to not seriously implement the content of the document and still organize sightseeing and learning experiences during the current period, the provincial leaders will be advised to strictly handle it.
