Kon Tum province currently has 1,011 cadres, civil servants, and workers. Of which, 116 people are under the management of the Kon Tum Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. Through the survey, 104 cadres under the management of the Kon Tum Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee had a need to arrange public housing; 991 people had a need to support house rental.
It took Kon Tum provincial officials 4 hours to travel the 160km distance to Quang Ngai city, Quang Ngai province to work. Therefore, to ensure favorable working and living conditions, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province has drafted a plan to arrange means of transportation, pick-up and accommodation for cadres, civil servants and workers in Kon Tum province.

Leaders under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee will use official vehicles for pick-up and drop-off according to the title standard and are allowed to use official vehicles. For the remaining cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers, the province will hire vehicles to pick them up and drop them off according to a fixed schedule every week.
Specifically, the bus departs from Kon Tum on Sunday afternoon (at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.); the return trip from Quang Ngai departs on Friday afternoon (17:30 p.m.) and Saturday morning (8:00 a.m.). In addition, from Monday to Friday, the province will arrange 4 bus trips operating at fixed times to serve the sudden travel needs of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.
Regarding pick-up and drop-off locations: in Kon Tum, concentrated at Kon Tum Bus Station, Provincial Administrative Center and some other locations proposed by the province. In Quang Ngai province, focus on the arrangement of public housing according to the arrangement of the Provincial People's Committee and the Bus Management and Operation Center of Mai Linh Quang Ngai Company Limited.
The main route is expected to be National Highway 24. In case of bad weather, congestion or force majeure incidents, alternative routes include: Truong Son Dong Street, DT 623, National Highway 24B. Currently, the plan is being consulted with cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in Kon Tum province.
On the afternoon of 11.5, the Standing Committee of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee coordinated with the Standing Committee of Kon Tum Provincial Party Committee to organize a second regular working session. At the meeting, leaders of Quang Ngai and Kon Tum provinces focused on discussing and commenting on the plan of arrangement and arrangement of official houses for officials, public servants and workers after the arrangement of Quang Ngai and Kon Tum province.
Currently, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province has developed a plan to arrange and assign public housing to cadres, civil servants, and workers after the arrangement. Through the review, there are 4 houses and land facilities expected to be arranged as public housing, including: Provincial Party Committee A3 House, T50 Guest House, Provincial Political School dormitory and Provincial Farmers' and Women's Vocational Education Support Center Headquarters.
Also according to this plan, the province plans to support house rental fees of 2 million VND/person/month. This support level will be applied for 2 years. After that, Quang Ngai province will base on the actual situation and related regulations to issue appropriate policies.
Discussing this issue, Mr. Duong Van Trang - Secretary of Kon Tum Provincial Party Committee suggested that Quang Ngai province pay attention to arranging reasonable accommodation so that cadres from Kon Tum province can work with peace of mind. At the same time, the province needs to speed up the implementation of social housing projects, creating conditions for officials to be able to buy a house and stabilize their lives at their new workplace.
