On July 18, the leader of the People's Committee of Hiep Thanh commune, Lam Dong province, said that the search for baby Tran Pham Nhat Han (born in 2023) was being widely deployed by the authorities. However, up to now, after nearly half a month, the search for the girl has not had results.
Through discussion, Ms. Pham Thi Thao Vi (24 years old, Han's mother) said that since Han's disappearance, the family has coordinated with the authorities to search many places but were unsuccessful.
Han is the only daughter of Ms. Pham Thi Thao Vi and her husband. Since her daughter went missing, Ms. Vi and her husband had to quit their jobs to work with the people and authorities to find her child.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on the morning of July 5, while Han was playing at home in Phi Nom village, Hiep Thanh commune, her grandmother went to the garden area to work.
At 11am the same day, Han's grandmother went into the house but could not see her granddaughter, so she shouted and searched for her.
After receiving the report, the authorities of Hiep Thanh commune stepped in to verify and arrange forces to search.
The People's Committee of Hiep Thanh commune mobilized police forces, militia, and youth unions to coordinate with local people to search for the child.
The search area includes gardens, ponds, lakes, rivers, streams, residential areas, etc. The authorities also organized the extraction of security cameras around the area to find the girl's whereabouts but there were no results.
