Hanoi - For newly built apartments and hospitals within Ring Road 3, the parking space ratio for installing charging stations must reach at least 30% of the planned parking space.

On the afternoon of June 15, the Hanoi City People's Council approved the Resolution Regulating investment policies for development, management, and exploitation of local road and railway infrastructure in the city.

According to the content of the resolution, for road infrastructure being exploited with parking spaces and parking lots in apartment buildings, commercial buildings, hospitals, and other public works being exploited, belonging to the list of locations eligible for installing public clean energy supply stations, based on actual conditions, technical infrastructure meeting capacity, power supply capacity, fire prevention and fighting and needs, the City People's Committee decides the existing parking space ratio with public clean energy supply station installation.

For new investment projects including road infrastructure according to the plan, parking lots in apartment buildings, commercial buildings, hospitals, and other public works within the Ring Road 3, the parking space ratio for installing public clean energy substations must reach at least 30% of the planned parking space.

For new investment projects including road infrastructure according to the plan, parking lots in apartment buildings, commercial buildings, hospitals, and other public works outside Ring Road 3, depending on actual conditions, the City People's Committee stipulates that parking spaces must be equipped with clean energy boosters with a minimum ratio corresponding to each type of project, not less than 30% of the planned parking space.

The City People's Committee stipulates the mechanism for investment, management, operation and exploitation of public clean energy charging and supply station infrastructure in the city, ensuring synchronicity, connectivity, common use, infrastructure sharing and equal access for vehicle users.
