According to information from Do Son Border Guard Station, on the morning of May 10, during patrols at sea, officers and soldiers of the unit discovered a school of dolphins with a number of more than 20 animals appearing in the area about 1 nautical mile from Hon Dau island, including rare red dolphins.
Dolphins often live in sea areas with a fresh environment and rich ecosystems. The appearance of the dolphin herd is a welcome sign, showing that the Do Son sea environment is increasingly improving.
In folk beliefs, dolphins are a symbol of peace, luck and good things. Previously, people repeatedly recorded images of dolphins appearing in Do Son sea area. Recently, before the Dau Island festival, a school of dolphins also appeared in the Do Son area.
