On September 26, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the People's Committee of Nam Sam Son Ward, Thanh Hoa Province, said that after information appeared about the situation of trucks carrying "mobile gasoline plants" running through alleys to sell gasoline to local people, local authorities have stepped in to check.

"Currently, the authorities and the ward police have initially reported the incident. At the same time, it has asked for the opinion of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police force on a number of issues related to fire prevention and fighting. When there is a conclusion, the local government will propose a handling plan" - a representative of Nam Sam Son Ward People's Committee informed.
According to this representative, through initial inspection, the local government has drawn up records for 5 households related to the storage and trading of petroleum (including 1 household buying and selling, 4 households storing).
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, recently, people in Nam Sam Son Ward discovered a situation where an individual household used a truck to transport pumps and fuel tanks to retail for people in the neighborhoods.
People said that buying and selling gasoline in this form is very difficult for authorities to manage invoices and taxes. In addition, transporting gasoline and oil all over the roads poses a potential risk of insecurity and fire and explosion if an incident occurs.
To attract customers, sellers often offer lower prices than at gas stations and are willing to bring them to their homes. Because they see it as cheap and convenient, many people have chosen to buy it despite unknown origin and quality.
According to the investigation, the owner of the mobile vehicle for selling gasoline was located in village 1, the old Quang Dai commune (now Nam Sam Son ward). Gasoline sales take place in many time frames, most in the afternoon. Buyers only need to order, the vehicle will go to their home and be pumped directly into prepared plastic cans.
