On July 9, information from Lai Chau Provincial Police, after many prolonged heavy rains in Sin Suoi Ho commune (Lai Chau province) causing landslides, partially cutting off traffic and affecting people's crops.
Local police forces quickly coordinated to support households to overcome the consequences and ensure safety against the risk of continued landslides.
According to information from Sin Suoi Ho Commune Police, at about 2 pm on July 8, landslides of soil and rock appeared in many areas, causing local cuts to some traffic routes, and at the same time damaging crop areas of many households.

Notably, the house of Mr. Tan Chin Quay (born in 1984, residing in Chi Sang village, Sin Suoi Ho commune) has many cracks on the rear taluy, posing a risk of landslides, directly threatening the lives and property of the family.
Immediately after receiving the information, Sin Suoi Ho Commune Police urgently arrived at the scene, advising local authorities to mobilize militia forces and people in the village to organize leveling and handling of landslide-prone soil and rocks to limit the risk of soil and rocks burying people's houses.
