On September 18, Hoa Phu Commune People's Committee (Dak Lak province) said that the Commune Police force had just promptly intervened to stop a woman who intended to jump off Serepok bridge (bridge 14).
At about 10 am on the same day, while patrolling and ensuring security and order in the area, the police received a report from people about a woman intending to jump off a bridge.
Immediately after that, the task force quickly arrived at the scene and approached the woman. Police officers persistently encouraged, shared, and advised this person to calm down and not take dangerous actions.
After a period of being talked to and persuaded by the police force, the woman gave up her intention and moved to a safe area.
The woman was identified as Ms. C.T. C (37 years old, residing in Cu Jut commune, Lam Dong province).
Ms. C said that due to sadness and encountering unhappy things in the family, negative thoughts arose.
After being encouraged and supported by the police force, Ms. C stabilized her spirit and returned to her family.
