Rescue of a person suspected of jumping from Dak Bla bridge in Quang Ngai

Quang Ngai - Rescue forces deploy rescue work, taking unconscious victims under the bridge to the emergency room.

On June 3, functional agencies of Quang Ngai province said that they had just successfully rescued a victim suspected of jumping from Dak Bla bridge in Kon Tum ward.

At 10:40 PM on June 2nd, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 4 under the Fire and Rescue Police Department, Quang Ngai Provincial Police received a report about a person unconscious at the foot of Dak Bla bridge, Kon Tum ward, suspected of jumping off the bridge.

Immediately after receiving the information, the unit urgently mobilized forces and vehicles to the scene to deploy rescue and relief work, and at the same time notified the emergency department of Quang Ngai Provincial General Hospital 2 to coordinate support.

When present at the scene, functional forces quickly assessed the situation, deployed appropriate rescue and relief measures, and coordinated with Quang Ngai Provincial General Hospital 2, Police force 113 and Ward Police in the process of performing their duties.

Through initial verification, the victim was A.K. (born in 2008), residing in Kon Ro Bang 1 village, Ngok Bay commune, Quang Ngai province.

By 11:02 PM on the same day, rescue forces had brought the victim to a safe area and transferred him to the hospital for emergency treatment.

The cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified.
