In the afternoon of July 29, the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Quang Ngai Provincial Police said that at about 8 am on the same day, functional forces found the body of the victim suspected of jumping from Co Luy bridge.
Previously, at 10:30 PM on July 28, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 1 received a report from the on-duty police of An Phu commune about a person suspected of jumping off Co Luy bridge.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 1 mobilized officers, soldiers and specialized vehicles to quickly arrive at the scene, coordinating with relevant forces to deploy victim search operations.
Through initial verification, the victim was identified as Mr. T.V. V (36 years old), permanently residing in Group 6, Cam Thanh ward, Quang Ngai province.
After finding the body, functional forces handed it over to functional agencies and the family to carry out procedures according to regulations.
Currently, the case is being further verified by functional agencies to clarify the cause.
