On the morning of August 10, at the King Ly Thai To Monument and Dinh Tien Hoang Street (Hoan Kiem Lake walking street, Hoan Kiem Ward), Hanoi City Police organized the Festival for the Peaceful Capital program.
Speaking at the event, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of Hanoi Police, said that today's For the Peace of the Capital Festival program aims to spread the message of cultural values, creativity, and the spirit of Forgetting oneself for the country, Serving the people, with the participation of tens of thousands of cadres, soldiers and people of the Capital.
The festival is an opportunity to look back and affirm the core and decisive role, reminiscent of the image of the brave and humane capital police officers who are keeping the peace of the capital day and night, but also the pride, responsibility and dedication to serving the people; at the same time, demonstrating the strength of national solidarity, the great political and spiritual strength of the people of all classes in the capital for the work of protecting national security and maintaining social order and safety in the area.
"This is also an opportunity for the Hanoi City Police to express our deep gratitude to the leaders of the Party, State, Ministry of Public Security; Party Committee, government and people of the capital. The trust, love and support of the people is a great motivation, an invaluable source of strength for the capital's police force to firmly step on the road ahead" - the Director of Hanoi Police emphasized.
According to Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, the country is entering a new era, an era of national growth, Hanoi City Police is determined to take the lead in rearranging the organization and apparatus in the direction of streamlining - compactness - strength, regularity, elite, modernity to meet the requirements in the new situation.
Continue to synchronously deploy measures and solutions, firmly protect security and order in the capital; proactively prevent and effectively combat all types of crimes and law violations; increase the application of science, technology, comprehensive digital transformation, improve the effectiveness of state management of national security to ensure absolute social order and safety in all areas; keep the people's lives peaceful, worthy of being a solid "steel shield" to protect the Party, State and People.
In the immediate future, the City Police will focus on solutions, deploy a high-point attack to suppress crime, successfully complete the task of absolutely protecting the safety of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2, the parade and parade at Ba Dinh Square and the Party Congresses at all levels of the city towards the 14th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam worthy of being the Capital for Peace.
The program "Fest for the Peaceful Capital" harmoniously combines art performances with the two topics " Glory of 80 years of the Heroic Capital Police" and "Aspiration to contribute, for the Peaceful Capital" to review the team, mass parade and specialized equipment and means of Hanoi City Police.
The special and impressive highlight of the program was the team approval and mass parade with the participation of nearly 3,000 officers and soldiers representing units under the Hanoi Police and the people of the capital; 245 specialized motor vehicles belonging to the professional forces of the City Police.
Along with that are the People's Public Security martial arts performances with high level and technique.
