Accordingly, from March 1, the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police will manage the testing, issuance, and renewal of driving licenses.
The Traffic Police Department will receive testing documents, issuance documents, driver's license changes, procedures for granting degrees and transmit data to the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) to issue electronic driver's licenses to the locality for printing and returning to the people.
At the same time, the driver's license is integrated into the electronic identification account.
Administrative procedures for granting and exchanging driving licenses will not change when transferred to Hanoi City Police.
People can do normal procedures for issuance and exchange at direct reception points and through the National Public Service Portal.
The Ministry of Public Security and the Hanoi City Police will announce a list of direct reception locations and addresses of the National Public Service Portal.
After receiving the assignment, on February 28, Hanoi City Police launched the Road Motor Driving License Assessment and Assessment Team under the Traffic Police Department.
