On the morning of February 25, it was noted that at the Hanoi Department of Transport's driving license issuance and renewal point at location No. 2 Phung Hung (Ha Dong district, Hanoi), all activities were still taking place normally.
According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Thang (residing on Yet Kieu Street, Ha Dong District), because his house was near, he directly went to do the procedures for issuing and exchanging driving licenses. The issuance and exchange process is also simple, people come to line up early to get a number for procedures, those who come late have to wait until the afternoon.

An employee working at Phung Hung No. 2 said that on average, they receive about 200 applications per day, about 120 in the morning and more than 80 in the afternoon. "After being notified and recommended, people have limited their travel to do the procedures for granting and renewing driving licenses," said this employee.

Previously, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Le Hong Quan - Deputy Chief of Office of Hanoi Department of Transport - said that currently, issuing and renewing driving licenses online is very simple and convenient. The Department of Transport has opened 13 more points for issuing and exchanging in districts, but people still flock to 2 points of the Department of Transport, No. 16 Cao Ba Quat, Ba Dinh District and No. 2 Phung Hung, Ha Dong District to complete procedures for issuing and exchanging driving licenses.
According to Mr. Quan, the unit still grants and changes driving licenses to normal people, and when there is a decision from the authorities, it will be transferred. "People are assured that the issuance and renewal of driving licenses will not be interrupted and any unit that implements it will serve the needs of citizens," said Mr. Quan.
