Accordingly, at about 6:35 p.m. on May 4, while on duty at the foot of Niem Bridge, Hai Phong, officers and soldiers of Traffic Police Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department of Hai Phong City Police, including Captain Dao Van Quang and Captain Vu Nhu Thiem, received a report from the people about a young man with unusual signs, suspected of planning to jump off the bridge to commit suicide.
Immediately, the working group approached the scene and promptly detected and prevented the young man's behavior. After that, the young man was taken to the Dong Hoa Ward Police station for clarification.
At the police station, it was determined that N. Q. T (born in 2003, residing in Vinh Niem ward, Le Chan district, Hai Phong city) had signs of alcohol use, had an unstable mentality and intended to commit suicide.
Traffic Police Team No. 1 coordinated with Dong Hoa Ward Police to contact and invite the family to hand over N.Q.T to the family to continue monitoring, managing and encouraging him.
