The project to upgrade the Tien Lang Regional Medical Center started construction in August 2025. Currently, the project has completed the rough construction and is completing items such as: fire prevention and fighting system, water supply and drainage, power lines, facade stone plating, brick plating... It is expected to be completed, handed over and put into use in August 2026.
After being put into use, Tien Lang Medical Center will be arranged as a place to organize reception and outpatient examination and treatment; arrange active resuscitation units at the examination and treatment area to receive, handle, and provide emergency care to seriously ill patients coming for examination and treatment at the Center; arrange specialized clinics, procedure rooms, administrative working areas, inpatient treatment areas and arrange meeting rooms...
Regarding the project to upgrade the Tien Lang Regional Medical Center, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Tien Phung requested contractors and construction units to closely follow the schedule and determination to complete it before August 19.
In the context of limited facilities, officials, doctors and physicians of the Center strive to ensure good medical examination and treatment activities for people. In which, strengthen technical equipment, ensure minimum medical examination and treatment needs; effectively apply the city's support mechanisms and policies to attract, train, and improve the quality of human resources; maximize existing equipment and machinery to serve patients; proactively advise the Department of Health and the Department of Home Affairs to consolidate the organizational structure and clearly define tasks.
Along with that, the Center continues to support the Commune Health Station in professional tasks; do well in primary health care tasks, especially maternal and child health care; uphold the spirit and attitude of serving patients.
The project to invest in upgrading the Tien Lang Regional Medical Center aims to invest in central facilities with a scale of 250 beds or more (currently 190) with departments and rooms according to regulations, developing new high technology, performing the task of medical examination and treatment, care and protection of people's health. The project has a total investment of more than 64.9 billion VND from the city budget, the investment scale is to build 1 5-story building unit of the inter-specialized medical examination area, with a total construction floor area of about 4,540 m2 (at the main gate facing Pham Ngoc Da street) along with auxiliary works such as yards, sidewalks, green parks, water supply and drainage...
