On the morning of August 9, Tu My Commune Police informed that at about 9 pm on August 8, the unit received information from Duc Quang Commune Police (Ha Tinh province) about the discovery of an elderly woman showing signs of fatigue, mental panic, wandering for many hours on the road.
Through initial contact, the old woman did not remember clearly the address of her residence or information of relatives.
Immediately after receiving the information, Tu My Commune Police urgently coordinated with functional forces to implement verification measures.
After more than an hour of screening, Tu My Commune Police identified it as Ms. Tran Thi S with permanent residence in Son Tan village, Tu My commune, so they sent officers to take Ms. S home and hand her over to her family.
