According to the announcement, Phu Tho Provincial Police have taken on the task of testing, issuing, exchanging, and reissuing driving licenses from the Department of Transport. Citizens can submit their application online on the National Public Service Portal; Ministry of Public Security's Public Service Portal or directly at the application reception points of the provincial police.
To facilitate citizens, Phu Tho Provincial Police organizes 6 points to receive applications for issuing, exchanging and reissuing driving licenses in the whole province. In the immediate future, from March 1, implementation will be organized at 3 locations: At the Examination Team, granting driving licenses - Traffic Police Department, Phu Tho Provincial Police: Hai Ba Trung Street extended, Team 7, Trung Vuong Commune, Viet Tri City, Phu Tho (old Viet Tri City Police); old Phu Tho Town Police headquarters: Van Thang Quarter, Van Lung Commune, Phu Tho Town; old Thanh Son District Police headquarters: No. 32, Hoang Son Street, Thanh Son Town, Thanh Son District.
The remaining application receiving points will continue to be implemented in March 2025. The time to receive documents directly during working hours is from Monday to Saturday every week.
Previously, the reception of documents for citizens to complete procedures for granting, exchanging and reissuing driving licenses was carried out at 1 location, the Public Administration Center, Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee (implemented by the Department of Transport of Phu Tho province).
