These more than 2,000 officers and soldiers belong to the police of units, localities and the Northeast Mobile Police Regiment under the Mobile Police Command.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Colonel Tran Van Phuc - Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police - requested the police of all units and localities to unanimously recognize that this is the most important political task at this time; in which it is required to promote the sense of responsibility, set an example, especially the comrades who are the Chiefs of Police of all units and localities in directing and implementing solutions to overcome the consequences of Typhoon Yagi (Typhoon No. 3); requested all officers and soldiers to promote the spirit of "mutual love", "when people need, when people are in trouble, there is the police".
The Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police also requested to strengthen close coordination with armed forces, functional agencies and mobilize the entire political system to participate in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3; focus on cleaning up affected locations, especially key routes, residential roads serving people's travel and daily life, reinforce vulnerable areas; support policy households, single-parent households, and those in especially difficult circumstances...
The police force coordinated with local agencies and units to help schools, cultural houses, and households move their belongings and property away from areas at risk of landslides, breakage, and collapse; helping people quickly stabilize their lives. At the same time, they actively carried out rescue work for flooded and landslide-prone areas caused by storm No. 3 causing rain and floods in some places in the province, as well as helping people move their belongings and property to safe locations.
In addition to supporting the recovery from storm No. 3, the provincial police force also proactively advised and organized the maintenance of political stability, ensuring security and safety in the area, avoiding passivity, surprise, and creating "hot spots" of security and order. Maintaining forces to patrol, control, and propagate to raise people's vigilance, not allowing subjects to take advantage of loopholes and steal property.
To quickly stabilize life and minimize damage caused by super typhoon Yagi, for many days now, the police force of Quang Ninh province has actively participated in prevention work as well as supporting the recovery of the consequences of typhoon No. 3.
