On the morning of July 18, information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Hanoi City Police said that on the evening of July 17, in the area of Ngoc Thuy dike road, the section under Long Bien bridge in Bo De ward, Hanoi City, a traffic collision occurred between a concrete mixer truck and under Long Bien bridge.
Accordingly, at about 11:05 pm on July 17, a concrete mixer truck with license plate 99H-020. xx of S.H Concrete Joint Stock Company, driven by Mr. Pham Van P (born in 1999, residing in Tuyen Quang province), was traveling on Ngoc Thuy dike road in the direction of Chuong Duong bridge.
When passing through the Long Bien bridge underpass area, the vehicle collided with the upstream wing angle of the Long Bien railway bridge, then got stuck under the bridge.
Fortunately, the collision did not cause any casualties. The car was damaged; the corner of the bridge base plating was flattened and dented with dimensions of about 20 x 20cm; about 1m3 of fresh concrete on the car fell onto the road surface.

Immediately after receiving the news, Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 - Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police urgently sent officers and soldiers to the scene, coordinated with functional units to organize scene protection, traffic diversion, and at the same time conduct investigation and resolve the case according to regulations.
Functional forces also checked the driver's alcohol and drug concentration. As a result, the driver had no alcohol concentration and no drugs.
Immediately after the incident occurred, S.H Concrete Joint Stock Company coordinated with the Long Bien bridge management unit to mobilize forces and vehicles to collect all the spilled concrete, ensuring traffic safety.
At the same time, the parties will assess the extent of damage and agree on a plan to overcome the consequences caused by the collision.
