On July 16, news from Pleiku Ward Police, Gia Lai province said that the unit had just coordinated with relatives to search for Mr. N.T. C. (born 1982, residing in group 6, Dien Hong ward) and took the victim to Gia Lai Provincial General Hospital for timely emergency treatment.
On the evening of July 14, Pleiku Ward Police received a report from people about a young man drowning in the Tra Da bridge area, group 16, Pleiku ward, suspected of suicide.
The ward police urgently directed the task force performing patrol and control duties near the area where the incident occurred to quickly arrive at the scene to verify, grasp the situation and deploy rescue and relief measures.
Although the incident occurred at night, in the dark, heavy rain, and fast-flowing water, the working group still urgently coordinated with people and relatives of the victims to organize searches.
After that, functional forces discovered the victim about 30 meters from the stream bank. With the support of people, the ward police task force brought the victim ashore safely.
Next, the working group performed initial first aid and urgently took the victim to Gia Lai Provincial General Hospital for timely emergency treatment.
To date, the victim has passed the critical condition and is continuing to be treated and cared for by doctors and nurses at Gia Lai Provincial General Hospital.
Currently, functional agencies are continuing to verify and clarify the cause of the incident.
