On August 17, State Audit of Vietnam Region III coordinated with Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee to organize a Conference to announce the audit decision and deploy the audit according to plan in Quang Ngai.
At the conference, State Audit of Vietnam Region III announced the audit decision and the audit implementation plan, focusing on the following contents: National target program for socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period 2021-2025 in Quang Ngai province.
Specialized topic on the management and use of budget funds for road economic activities in the 2023-2025 period of Quang Ngai province; construction activities and management and use of investment capital for the Hoang Sa - Doc Soi Road Project.
Mr. Vuong Nguyen Luong, Chief Auditor of State Audit of Region III, said that this audit is an operation according to plan, with the aim of confirming the truthfulness and rationality of the information and data on implementation costs; assessing compliance with the law, economy, effectiveness, and efficiency in the management and use of public finances and assets.
At the same time, it also points out the shortcomings and limitations to propose to the audited unit and related organizations and individuals to rectify the management of the unit's operations...
To serve the audit work, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sam - Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee requested relevant agencies, units, and localities to urgently review, prepare, and provide complete and timely dossiers, documents, and data as required by the audit team.
