Hoa Binh Medical Union trains 200 staff on occupational safety and health

Hoa Binh - 200 managers, union officials, and medical staff under the Hoa Binh Health Sector Union have just received training in Occupational Safety and Hygiene (OSH).

On November 12, the Hoa Binh Health Sector Trade Union organized a 2024 Occupational Safety and Health Training Conference for 200 managers, union officials, medical staff and workers at affiliated trade unions.

The conference will focus on the following topics: Introduction to occupational safety and health, responsibilities of employers and employees regarding occupational safety and health; Assessment of occupational safety and health risks; Measures to prevent occupational accidents and diseases; Electrical safety, fire and explosion prevention; First aid; Medical environmental hygiene; Practical training on the use of protective equipment, fire extinguishers, first aid, etc.

Through the conference, we aim to raise awareness and consciousness of managers, medical staff, and healthcare workers about the importance of occupational safety and health, and equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to prevent and minimize occupational accidents, occupational diseases, and other potential risks related to occupational safety and health in the healthcare sector.

At the same time, build a safe and hygienic working environment, improve the efficiency of medical examination and treatment, and contribute to improving the quality of medical services.
