The Ho Chi Minh Park Renovation and Upgrade Project in Lao Cai Ward is a Group C project with a total capital of 34 billion VND, approved in February 2025.
The project is directly managed and operated by the Lao Cai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board.
In mid-September, according to Lao Dong, the park is currently undergoing renovation with many items such as paving sidewalks, improving miniatures, electrical systems and adding infrastructure to serve the people.
The working atmosphere at the construction site is quite urgent, the construction teams are mobilized simultaneously to speed up the progress.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Van Trang - a resident of Lao Cai ward said: "Investing in renovating the park is good news for the people. This is our daily entertainment and exercise space, so when renovated, it will be both safe and create a greener, cleaner, and more beautiful landscape.
Mr. Duong Van Hai - who regularly exercises at the park also shared: "People fully support this project. We just hope that the construction units will speed up the progress so that people soon have a more spacious and modern community living space".
According to the investigation, Package No. 5 - construction is implemented by Duc Tuan Construction Investment Company Limited, with a value of nearly 25 billion VND. Funding is taken from land use fee revenue, increased tax, fee, other revenue, savings in provincial budget expenditures and other legal capital sources
According to the Lao Cai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board, the restoration of the landscape and infrastructure of the relic site will create favorable conditions for the activities of the relic site to take place smoothly, complete the organization of urban landscape architectural space and be consistent with the general planning orientation of Lao Cai ward.
The renovation of Ho Chi Minh Park is expected to not only improve the quality of public space but also create a landscape highlight, contributing to building an increasingly civilized and modern urban appearance.
