Recently, social networks have spread information that a man wearing a black shirt may interfere with the traffic light system at the Khuat Duy Tien intersection - Thang Long Avenue (Hanoi), causing public panic.

However, the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police confirmed that this is false information and has no basis.
Accordingly, the traffic light system operated by the Hanoi Traffic Police Department (CSGT) is a closed system with strict security.
"adjusting the light cycle can only be done through a computer at the Traffic Control Center, and cannot be intervened by external devices," informed the Hanoi Traffic Police Department.
On the other hand, the technical cabinet of the lighting system is securely reinforced and only serves maintenance, repair, and cannot adjust the light cycle.
The Hanoi Traffic Police Department emphasized that spreading false information not only causes misunderstanding but also affects the work of ensuring traffic order and safety.

Recently, on social networks, there has also appeared many information about "squeezing, attracting views" or quoting, providing advantageous and incomplete information... In the face of the above situation, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department recommends that people when accessing information on social networks should be alert, verify, not post or share false information and choose and follow information from legitimate news agencies and newspapers.
When detecting information with false content or distorted truth, it is necessary to immediately report to the authorities for handling according to the provisions of law.
