The video titled "Who is brave?" after only 3 hours of posting on the Facebook page of the Traffic Police Department attracted more than one million views, thousands of shares, interactions and received many positive comments.
This is a propaganda product about alcohol concentration violations, implemented by the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Hanoi City Police. All "actors" appearing in the video are officers and soldiers of the traffic police.
After planning, scripting and being approved by the Department's Command, we started filming and editing. The entire process is carried out by mobile phone, and the post-production stage has the support of software and AI technology to complete the product, making it as attractive as possible" - Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Tien - officer of the Propaganda Team, Investigation and Resolution of Traffic Accidents (Hanoi Traffic Police Department) - shared.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Tien, the choice of short video format stems from the current reality that most people, especially young people, receive information through social networks.
We want the propaganda content to be both close, easy to read, easy to remember, but still ensure the correct transmission of legal regulations. Through everyday situations, viewers can immediately recognize violations, thereby adjusting their behavior when participating in traffic. A video is only a few dozen seconds long but can be watched many times, shared with friends and relatives, so the propaganda effectiveness is also multiplied" - Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Tien added.
To make it easier for viewers to visualize and receive the message, the videos are all filmed in familiar traffic contexts, close to daily reality. Like the video titled "Don't be subjective when participating in traffic on hot sunny days" which was just made and posted by the Hanoi Traffic Police Department on May 26, traffic police officers were directly present at the Dai Co Viet - Xa Dan intersection amidst the hot sun to film, thereby helping viewers easily relate to situations they often encounter on the road, thereby receiving traffic safety recommendations more naturally and closely.
Sharing more about the orientation for the coming time, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tai Nghia - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Investigation Team for Traffic Accidents (Hanoi Traffic Police Department) - said that the unit will continue to experiment with new ways of doing propaganda work, including the application of AI.
The goal is to make traffic safety messages come to people more naturally, easily received and easily remembered" - Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tai Nghia shared.
