Implementing the order of the Director of the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ministry of Public Security, on the evening of February 13, the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police simultaneously deployed forces to control alcohol concentration throughout the area.
Task forces are deployed at many key routes, especially areas with a large concentration of restaurants, beer stalls, and eateries. These are areas with a high risk of violations in the evening hours.
In 5 hours, from 7 pm to 12 am (February 13), functional forces controlled 4,587 vehicle turns, detected and handled 85 violations. Among them, there were 4 cases of car drivers, 79 cases of motorbike drivers and 2 cases of other vehicle drivers violating alcohol concentration regulations.
At Kim Ma route, Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 coordinated with Ngoc Ha Ward Police to establish a working group of 6 officers and soldiers, conducting inspections of nearly 300 cars. Through inspection, functional forces discovered 2 violations.

Accordingly, at 10:35 PM, Mr. V.A. D (born 1977, residing in Hanoi) driving a Mazda car with license plate 30K-821xx violated at a level of 0.103 mg/L of breath. This person said that he had been drinking beer since noon.
At about 11 pm, the task force continued to discover Mr. C.V. H (born 1970, residing in Phu Tho) driving a Mercedes car with license plate 28A-063xx violating at a level of 0.347 mg/L of breath.


In parallel with that, at the Le Duan - Tran Nhan Tong intersection, Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 maintains continuous control because this is an area with many restaurants and eateries.
In just over an hour of duty, the task force discovered 4 violations, including a woman driving a motorbike violating at 0.085 mg/L of breath.


At the same time, on the Kham Thien route (Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward), Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 organized inspections of both cars and motorbikes. During the working shift, the unit discovered and handled 5 cases of motorbike drivers violating alcohol concentration.
According to the Hanoi Traffic Police Department, the simultaneous deployment on many routes shows that the control work is carried out according to a comprehensive plan, with focus and key points, not allowing gaps to occur.
In the coming days, alcohol concentration testing activities will continue to be maintained at all times, resolutely handling violations to ensure traffic order and safety.
