At 7:50 pm on March 14, while performing patrol and control duties on the Van Uc river route, River Police Team No. 2 (Traffic Police Department of the City Police) received a distress signal from vehicle HD-3017. Immediately, the Task Force of River Police Team No. 2 urgently controlled a motorboat to approach the scene and discovered a woman bleeding from the head on the vehicle.
Functional forces conducted initial first aid, bandaged the wounds and quickly brought the victim ashore. After that, by vehicle of officers and soldiers, the victim was taken to Kien An Hospital for emergency treatment.
The victim is Ms. Phung Thi X (born in 1993, residing in Ben Do residential area, Tran Nhan Tong ward, Hai Phong). At the hospital, doctors promptly examined, sutured the wound with 12 stitches and proceeded with treatment and bandaging. After medical intervention, Ms. X's health and spirit have stabilized and she is awake. The unit continued to support bringing Ms. Phung Thi X back to a safe vehicle and handing her over to her family for continued care.
