On August 12, Road Traffic Police Team No. 14 - Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police organized a propaganda campaign on traffic order and safety (TTATGT) at Nuoc Ngam bus station. This is an activity within the general control plan for transport business vehicles that the unit is implementing.
At the propaganda session, officers of Road Traffic Police Team No. 14 informed about the traffic safety situation in the area, disseminating new legal regulations effective from January 1, 2025, such as: Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety, Decree No. 168/2024/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations in the field of road traffic and Decree No. 158/2024/ND-CP on road transport activities.

At the same time, the authorities also pointed out some common violations of passenger bus drivers, such as: picking up and dropping off passengers in violation of regulations, carrying more people, using a phone while driving, speeding, entering the emergency lane, as well as preventing and fighting fires and explosions when transporting goods on the vehicle.
Mr. Trinh Hoai Lam - Deputy Director of Nuoc Ngam Bus Station - highly appreciated the traffic police coming directly to the bus station to propagate and guide. This helps the driver team understand the regulations, handle situations well, and ensure the safety of passengers.
Within the framework of the program, traffic police officers also directly instruct drivers on how to arrange goods and passengers to be safe on the vehicle; check and remind drivers to ensure the operation of the journey surveillance camera system, which is a mandatory requirement according to regulations, playing an important role in controlling long-distance, inter-provincial transport activities.

"The propaganda session is very useful, helping us grasp the regulations and raise awareness when driving vehicles, especially during the peak transportation season from now until the end of the year" - Mr. Trinh Xuan Dung, a bus driver on the Hanoi - Ha Tinh route, shared.
The propaganda activities of the traffic police force for drivers of passenger vehicles not only help drivers and bus assistants promptly update legal regulations, identify violations that need to be avoided, but also contribute to raising awareness, preventing accidents and ensuring transportation safety, especially during the peak of the National Day holiday on September 2 and the transportation period at the end of the year.
