On July 30, the Traffic Police Department - Lao Cai Provincial Police received 500 drug test kits donated by Thanh Cong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to serve the inspection and detection of drivers with drugs in their bodies.
The activity is implemented according to Resolution No. 51-NQ/TU of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Plan No. 73/KH-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee and Plan No. 373/KH-CAT-PV01-PC04 of the Provincial Police on implementing solutions to build 100% of communes and wards without drugs.
The donated test kits are the multi-parameter drug test FaStep Rapid Diagnostic Test (MD-U55), capable of screening 5 groups of substances including MET, THC, MDMA, MOP and KET.
According to the Traffic Police Department - Lao Cai Provincial Police, this support source contributes to supplementing equipment to serve the work of controlling vehicle drivers, improving the effectiveness of detecting and handling cases of drug use when participating in traffic. Thereby contributing to ensuring traffic order and safety and preventing and combating drug crime in the area.
