On December 13, Phu Lam Traffic Police Team stopped 8 passenger vans of various companies for inspection and all 8 vehicles were found to have violated traffic laws and were administratively fined.
After checking, Phu Lam Traffic Police Team has drawn up a record to handle violations against Mai Thao bus driver for not wearing a seat belt, Tuyet Hon bus driver for picking up and dropping off passengers at the wrong place. In addition, bus companies such as Hung Hieu, Kim Hoang, Tan Lap Thanh, Hue Nghia... have drivers violating the law of stopping in prohibited areas.
According to the Phu Lam Traffic Police Team, the inspection of the journey surveillance cameras aims to reduce illegal pick-up and drop-off of passengers, limit the situation of illegal buses and bus stops, especially in front of the Mien Tay bus station. At the same time, through this inspection, drivers are reminded to always comply with road traffic safety order, ensuring the safety of passengers, especially during holidays and Tet.
