The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee synthesizes the opinions and recommendations of voters and people sent to the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly. According to the report, voters believe that there are currently many signs hanging in places where visibility is obscured; the content is confusing such as " starting a puzzle" about traffic participants, posing many potential risks of causing accidents. The lighting system in some places has not been regularly maintained in a timely manner...
Some voters are concerned that the fine is too high, while the traffic infrastructure that does not meet the traffic volume will actually cause congestion and difficulty when participating in traffic, creating negative reactions for people in difficult circumstances when they accidentally commit traffic violations.
Public opinion expressed concern about the regulation that drivers of cars used for transportation and internal transportation are not allowed to drive continuously for more than 4 hours, with a maximum working time per day of 10 hours. Public opinion believes that this regulation is too strict and should only be applied to long-distance trucks and container trucks; is not suitable for taxi and technology car drivers, and hopes that the authorities need to study and consider adjusting the regulation to better suit the actual conditions of each type of business.
Voters also recommended that the Government direct the development of a fundamental, scientific, synchronous plan for traffic lights, installation of right turn lights, and expansion of intersections to overcome the lack of synchronization of the system of signs and traffic lights, especially in large cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Voters also recommended strict handling of illegal parking and encroachment on the sidewalk. Authorities need to improve the database to deduct transparency points, study and build public parking lots.
People hope that the police will increase patrols, install security cameras to handle violators, develop plans to organize and regulate traffic appropriately, and avoid long traffic congestion on routes with high traffic volume.
Conduct inspection, review, adjustment, supplement and maintenance of the road sign system; review and resolve shortcomings in the traffic light system, granting licenses, arranging stops, parking lots, parking lots, etc. to ensure reasonable, scientific, easy-to-recognize and consistent with the traffic organization plan, thereby improving quality and efficiency to ensure traffic safety and order.
Authorities need to step up propaganda, inspection, control and strictly handle violations and potential risks of accidents, especially the situation of teenagers racing in the evening.
