Mr. Nguyen Ba Khoa, in Ho Chi Minh City, said that while traveling on the Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway, he noticed signs showing vehicles to go in the two lanes on the right, while the left lane is not allowed to circulate.
Notably, signs are placed above the tunnelhead, making it difficult for drivers to observe.
Mr. Khoa said that on the expressway, the emergency lane should be arranged on the right side, while the two lanes on the left side of Doc San tunnel should allow cars to circulate to comply with traffic rules.
Regarding this issue, the Vietnam Road Administration said:
Road traffic participants must walk on the right side in their direction of travel, follow the lane and road section as prescribed, and comply with the road signaling system and traffic rules.
Therefore, road traffic participants must comply with the following priority order of signals:
Commands of traffic controllers.
Traffic light signal.
Road signs.
Road markings and other signs on the road surface.
Excavators, protective walls, barriers, reflective nails, reflective excavators, km columns, H-pillars.
Road signal audio equipment.
Regarding Mr. Nguyen Ba Khoa's reflection, the Vietnam Road Administration will direct the road investor to review the road signal system to ensure safety and smoothness for traffic participants.
